RE:  Outfitting and Servicing the PBA Disaster Recovery Trailer

===============================================================

Thanks to the kind donations from several churches in the PBA, we have been able to purchase a 14 foot trailer to be used as a disaster relief/recovery trailer.  This is a big step forward in our effort to establish the capability for this mission in the PBA.

There are some funds left from the original donations to purchase equipment for the trailer.  However, additional equipment is required to make the trailer fully operational beyond what these funds will cover.  If your church or organization would like to make a donation of funds or equipment, please contact the PBA office to determine the need.

If you are interested in training for disaster recovery or to provide support for this ministry, please contact the PBA office.  These needs include:

    Trained people to go on disaster relief/recovery missions

    People with a vehicle that can tow the trailer to the place of need.  (Maryland or another part of the country)

    People who can administer the trailer to insure that it is properly outfitted between deployments.  These may be people who cannot deploy, but who wish to serve.

    People who can maintain equipment when the unit is deployed -- such as chain-saw maintenance, and other support functions.

Click on the link below for a listing of the equipment needed and the budget availability/requirements.
